Our NHS Turns 72!

Everybody across the country is being encouraged to come together on the birthday of the NHS, Sunday 5 July, to thank not only NHS staff but all key workers, good neighbours and all those who are helping to get us through this difficult period.

It’s time for the biggest thank you in history! #ThankYouTogether

Join us in a nationwide campaign to celebrate the NHS’s birthday and say a one-off thank you to everyone on the frontline or perhaps some special local heroes who are still working so hard through this pandemic to care for us.

How you can join in

On Saturday 4 July there will be a moment of remembrance and reflection for all the lives of those we have lost during the pandemic. This chance for the nation to come together and pay our respects is being led by the Together Coalition. We are asking people to place a light in their window, and buildings and landmarks will be lit up as part of this collective act of remembrance.

Sunday 5 July is a day to bring people together to connect with your neighbours and communities, to say thank you to all those who are helping us through this time. When the clap ends, raise a glass, mug or cuppa to thank each other!

Why not download a special thank you poster to print and pop in your window this weekend?

We even have a version for you to colour in and make it a truly special thank you!
