Business Come Dancing is back for another glittering fundraising event!
Business Come Dancing is the annual fundraising event for Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW) who this year have teamed up with Bournemouth Hospital Charity who are raising money for a mini MRI scanner.
Contestants from Bournemouth and Poole are paired with professional teachers, given rehearsal space at PDSW, and after a few weeks of training perform their dance in front of a panel of judges at a Black Tie Dinner and Dance which will be held at The Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth on the 23rd November.
PDSW Fundraising and Corporate Support Officer Susan Tookey said:
“Business Come Dancing is a fabulous event. Not only does it raise vital funds for the work of PDSW which transforms communities through dance, it also gives local people the chance to work with a professional dancer and perform – many for the first time in their lives! This year we’re delighted to be splitting all proceeds with The Bournemouth Hospital Charity.”
There are two ways to support – you can sponsor a contestant via their Virgin Giving page or by coming along to the glittering event on Friday 23 Nov 2018 at The Cumberland Hotel. The evening will be compered by Steve Harris from BBC Radio Solent and guests will enjoy a 2 course meal, before watching the final performances.
Tickets are £40 per person and available from www.pdsw.org.uk/bcd2018 or by phoning the box office: 01202 203630.
We’re proud to announce our 2018 contestants and wish them all the very best of luck with their training!
