“Celebrate our NHS and scale down this iconic Bournemouth landmark!”

Date: Saturday 15 September
Time: slots available from 11am – 5pm
Location: St Peter’s Church, Bournemouth

Could you do something amazing to celebrate 70 years of the NHS?

We’re looking for brave people who would be willing to go over the edge for their hospital and abseil down the side of St. Peter’s Church!

An iconic part of Bournemouth town centre, St. Peter’s Church is one of the grandest historical structures in the region and is even the resting place of the heart of celebrated author Mary Shelley.

Built in the mid 1800s, the spire of St. Peter’s Church rises 60m (200ft) into the town’s skyline – the perfect structure to host this abseil challenge!

For just £25 (plus a sponsorship target of £70) you could scale this local landmark and raise valuable funds towards our Mini MRI Scanner Appeal!

You can take on this challenge by yourself, or as part of a team. Why not sign up with your partner, your workmates or your local sports club and share a truly unforgettable experience together?

To sign up as an individual, fill out the form below. If you’d like to sign up as a group, please contact our Events team on 01202 704060 or email charity.events@rbch.nhs.uk.
