Hotel donates thousands of pounds to benefit patients
- December 20, 2016
Over £5,285 has been donated to Bournemouth Hospital Charity by the Village Hotel, Bournemouth. The charity was chosen as one of the 2015 charities of the year and hotel leisure club members and staff were encouraged to get behind the different initiates and events. Taking part in the charity’s ‘Brew Up for Dementia’ campaign and being the main event sponsor for Twilight Walk for Women 2015 were just some of the ways they got behind the charity.
Andrea Piedot, Corporate Fundraising Officer for Bournemouth Hospital Charity, said: “We are delighted with the donation and have been thrilled with the support from the Village over the last year. Although our Charity of the Year status has finished we are looking forward to working with the Village in the future.
Natasha Godfrey from the Village Hotel, said: “The whole team here at Village Bournemouth are extremely passionate about the campaigns and fundraising opportunities Bournemouth Hospital Charity support and we really got behind the Twilight Walk in 2015 after one of our own team members battled through cancer. Utilising the footfall we get through the doors at the hotel, opposite the hospital, we will continue to get behind the charity throughout 2016 in any way we can”.
