Unfortunately, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the hospital has taken the very difficult decision to restrict visits to patients staying on our wards. As you can imagine, no one wants to miss seeing loved ones over Christmas, and so it is important for all the hospital staff to make sure patients feel as festive as possible.
In these difficult circumstances, we want to bring a smile to each patient by giving them a Christmas present. Please help us do this by donating to our Christmas present appeal.
Sadly this Christmas we are also unable to decorate the wards due to infection control measures to keep our patients and staff safe, so being able to provide presents is even more special.
If you can donate £20 today it will mean that two patients in our wards on Christmas Day will be able to open a lovely present, all thanks to you! On average it costs £180 to provide presents to all the patients on each ward of the hospital on Christmas Day, so if just nine people give £20 it would pay for presents for all the patients on one of our 34 wards!
